Revit Structure and AutoCAD Architecture
This paper examines the strong integration
between the two applications, and describes the
benefits to architectural and structural firms using
these solutions together.
Traditional structural processes begin with the architectural drawings, usually CAD-based.
The structural engineering team interprets the architectural design to create an overall
structural design, and then creates specialized analytical models to check the stability of
